After doing a TON of online research to find a new hair stylist, I decided to go to Limon. Best decision ever! I had a cut with Daniela, and was very impressed with her expertise and ability to know what the client wants. She gave me exactly what I wanted! I have a ton of fine wavy hair, so it's kinda hard to manage. She made some great suggestions as to thinning it out, and also spent time with me showing me how to style my hair.  I also told her I wanted something really current without being too edgy. She gave me the best cut I have ever had. I will be a loyal client of hers. She really is the best out there... and worth every penny!!!

I was long over due for a haircut & unfortunately Joanna was all booked up for the next 2 weeks bc she was leaving on maternity leave! (congrats btw, joanne!) Joanne was sweet enough to refer me to another senior stylist named Daniela Serpa, and I am so glad she did! 

I came in for a 10AM appointment, and as always was greeted by the receptionist who is always so sweet. I was quickly seated at Daniela's station, and was offered water, coffee or tea. Daniela quickly got to business and asked me what I wanted, what her personal and professional opinions were, and made sure I was completely comfortable. She then walked me over to get my hair washed and head massaged. This was probably the best part of my day. Her head and neck massage almost made me fall asleep and go to heaven. She's really good! I even came home and joked to my bf that he should buy one of those sink stations so he can massage my head. haha! Then back to the station, we began choppin some hair cut. suddenly i felt so lighter in weight. Daniela used a bunch of hair products that i loved. (unfortunately they were out of the product that i wanted to try.) She also explained the purpose of each of them and how to use them. She gave me a huge tutorial on how to style my hair. My appointment ended up taking a little more than an hour and i feel bad for her 11AM appointment that was waiting. :( sorry!

In the end, I was completely satisfied with my new haircut. Daniela was a pleasure to work with and I would most definitely recommend coming to see her.

OH! also, about the product I wanted to buy. The receptionist from Limon's JUST called me and told me a new shipment came in. Hopefully i can find some time today to stop by and pick up a bottle. Their business overall is just so great. They really called me right away as soon as a new shipment came in. :) Great customer service!! Thanks Limon!

I recently got my hair cut by Daniela. I would like to just say OMG I love it!!! My mom used to be a hair dresser and so I have only had my mom, my aunt and a friend cut my hair before. Needless to say I was very nervous about finding a new hair dresser when I moved to Santa Clara. After countless hours searching on yelp and going and having consults at other salons I finally decided to try Daniela. She gave me the best hair cut of my life! I brought in about 50 photos of different styles and she was so nice, she sat and looked at all of them with me. SHe then talked me through what she thought would be best for my hair type in relation to what I wanted. She was the first person to understand what I wanted to do with my hair. Usually when i get my hair cut I am so nervous that I cannot really talk and I just stare at all of my hair falling to the floor. This did not happen with Daniela, after the consult I knew I was in good hands. Before I knew it the hair cut was over and I never saw one piece of hair hit the floor because we were chatting the entire time. Basically I would like to say that I cannot thank her enough and she is a great stylists and a very nice person. The only critique I would have would be that while she massages you at the shampoo bowl she tends to put too much pressure on the temples and I came away with a migraine that continued for a few days. However, I had my fabulous hair to make me feel better!

Daniela seriously rocks my locks. I just remember walking out of that salon thrilled about my hair and feeling oh so fabulous. I have long, thin fine hair so it's really tricky to give it body and movement without giving it too much layers or making it boring with a straight blunt cut to make it look like I have more hair if you know what I mean. She gave me the right amount of layers around the face, cut it straight across the bottom for fullness, rounded out the edges and used medium long layers to soften it up. I also like that she's on top of the latest trends as far as what's in style. All I know is one moment we're gossiping about the Housewives of OC, and 20 minutes later I'm walking out of the salon with bombshell "Gretchen" hair. I'd ask her how to sex it up like Megan Fox and get that messy tousled look, and she'd teach me how to do it. Sweet! Seriously, from what I gathered of Daniela's fashion, hair, and makeup background, and awards she has won, I was like wow, she's really an artist, which is super cool. Not only that, she's really sweet and did I mention she gives a melt in your chair scalp massage? I wish I could have laid in that chair forever!

As far as the salon and logistics, it's nice that you can make an appointment online. So long as you have a simple request or know exactly what you need, it's fairly simple. I liked being able to browse through the available dates and times to see what I can work into my schedule. If I had something more complicated, I'd probably call to make sure I get the right amount of time scheduled.

Also, I recommend parking in the back lot and not the street parking in the front. Felt like I was going to get run over trying to get out of my car on Stevens Creek Blvd, lol. As soon as I got there, the receptionist offered me tea or water (and the green tea was actually really good). It's definitely a modern chic atmosphere with edgy celebutant artwork throughout the salon. Yet, the people are nice and the customer service is great. They even called me twice over the holidays to remind me that I left my products there.

Daniela's hair cut rocks, her price is very reasonable, great service, loved the salon and the Kerastase Loreal professional products that make my hair look amazing. I can't wait to go back for another hair cut :-)

I usually see Joanne, but because I needed an appt ASAP, I made one with Daniela. I received both color/highlights with minimal trim as I am trying to grow my hair. I was pleased with how friendly Daniela was and how honest she was with what I wanted to do with my hair.. After my first visit (yes, there were two), I wasn't quite sure of the color- I'm not sure if I just asked for the wrong combination or if the color didn't process as I expected it, or what?- but I ended up having to come back several days later to have it fixed. Daniela was very accomodating and took me in the next day that I called. She ended up taking matters into her own hands and gave me highlights that I didn't ask for, but ended up looking much better than what I had requested. And the best part was that Daniela never made me feel neglected despite squezing me in on an already busy Saturday schedule. I left the salon the second time feeling much better about my color- without feeling guilty about asking Daniela to take me in and spend 3 hours working on my hair, again, for free.

Overall- excellent customer service, excellent taste in styling, and she's sure to have me back in the future.

DAAAAANIELLLLLLLA IS THE BEST!! not only is she suuuuper sweet... but we totally connected! while she was cutting my hair, we were talking about anything and everything! she stayed over an hour after closing because i was a little late to my appointment. i could tell she didnt mind at all. i am totally in love with the cut she gave me... my bangs are EXACTLY how i wanted them! i will def be driving from san francisco to san jose just to get my hair cut by DANIELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

I love Daniela -she may not be able to do any wrong. She cut my bangs a lot shorter than I had expected, but I really did not TELL her what I expected. I wanted to see what she would do, because that's much more fun, and usually cuter too. I was a little shocked at first, but now, just a few days later, I am really happy with the cut. Daniela is creative, perceptive, and flexible.

Just had my appointment tonight with Daniela for a haircut and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Let me break it down for you:

Daniela did another great job. I love how she listens to what I want and then executes it perfectly. All i needed was a little trim and to dye my hair one shade darker, since I'm trying to grow out my hair for my wedding. The cut and dye came out great. I will definitely see her again in a few months. =)

Just had my appointment tonight with Daniela for a haircut and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Let me break it down for you:

First star was earned right when I walked in the back door of the salon (parking is in the back and there is an entrance there) and I was greeted by 4 different people. Very welcoming atmosphere... which was a big change from the usual salon I went to.

Next star was earned by the guy behind the receptionist desk who checked me in and offered me a drink. I got tea with Splenda WITH the Splenda already mixed in for me by said reception man. Oh and there was an option for wine as well but maybe next time. Nice touch.

Next star was because they have wi-fi!!! I got there early with my laptop so I could work on a project and thank you lord, there was wifi.

Next star is for Daniella's awesome head and neck massage during the shampooing. Who doesn't love massages?

Last star is for Daniella herself. I had such a fun time talking with her that it seemed like the haircut was beautiful and finished in no time.

Five stars = I loved it all. Thanks to Daniella and Limon!

I decided I would stop by Limon Salon the other day to fix my crazy mane. The atmosphere was friendly and had a music selection which was pretty awesome.

My hair stylist, Daniela, was full of life, friendly and downright charming. I had no idea what kind of look I wanted, so she asked me a little bit about what styles I like and did her thing. She worked her magic and I walked out of there really satisfied with how it turned out. I also need to add that she gives the world's greatest scalp massage.

I strongly recommend Limon Salon and the stylist Daniela, because really, I've never been this satisfied with a hair salon before.

I LOVE DANIELA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is the best!! She did a great job on my hair color, so very talented not only a hairstylist but also a great makeup artist!! I recommend to everyone who asks where I get my hair done, She's so nice and funny and fun defiantly makes the time fly by with conversation. I love how my hair turns out with the color and the style she is great!!!!!!!!!!!!! also the best shampoo you will get ever!!!!!! ask for Daniela!!

I made an appointment on their website, which was super easy and convenient. I came in with out any idea of what I had wanted to do with my hair, except for the fact that I wanted to chop off enough to donate and that was it. Daniella was my stylist of choice. She is so friendly and easy going. She sat me down, offered me a beverage (wine, beer, tea, juice, or water- awesome right!), and got started. I told her that I didn't care what she did and that I had no idea what I wanted or how I wanted it cut. In the end, Daniella made my hair look better than ever. I have sleek, straight, slippery hair that has no volume at all. She gave me a cut which is easy to manage and gives my hair the volume it needs. I am definitely going back to this salon and going back to Daniella every time I need a new do.

I had my appointment with Daniela about a month ago. The online reservation-making was quick and easy. They gave me wine when I arrived, which automatically puts me in a good mood. Daniela is super nice, easy to talk to and knows what she's doing. My color looked great, and I eventually learned to love my cut (I wanted to go super short---shorter than I'm used to, so it was a shock at first...not any of her fault at all). Plus, she gives a great head massage during the shampoo portion. So yeah, I'll be back.

I went to Daniela for an A-line cut, and she did an amazing job! I had tried to have another stylist do this two times and she failed. But Daniela is so gifted and I couldn't be happier with my hair. She gave me an amazing scalp massage and a glass of wine while she did my hair. I really enjoyed her and limon. I will def be going back!

Daniela was awesome with my hair. I first met her when she styled hair for our fashion show back in March. She did wonders - making my stick straight and limp hair stay curly for an entire day. I knew I wanted to go into the salon to get my hair done with her again after that.

Before my vacation, I made an appointment for a cut with her through their super easy online booking system. She was able to keep most of the length, but cleaned the layers up really nicely. It was exactly what I wanted.

I loved the salon setup and all the funky artwork. And how can you not love a salon that uses Kerastase and Bumble & Bumble products?!

At Limon Spa you are able to set up an appointment online.. How great is that. Even though it did take me 3 weeks to set up an appointment with Daniella, it was well worth it. She gave me the haircut i wanted, the cut was not too short but long enough that i can still make it into the ponytail. The hair color turned out really great too. I will come back and see her again...

I came here because I really wanted a haircut. I didn't want to wait, I wanted it the next day, and getting next day appointments at salons are rather difficult. I would've went to Pleasure Head in Santa Cruz, but for some reason, I couldn't get through the phone lines, so I looked to Yelp.

What bought me to come here over other places was the ability to book appointments online. How handy is that! The site was easy to navigate and get my appointment booked. I was so lucky to have an appointment that fit my schedule - hair cut with Daniela at 4PM!

When I got there, I was excited and a bit nervous. The place looked really nice and clean. The girl at the front was very attentive and hospitable, asking if I needed anything to drink or what not. Daniela was running late with a client and came to apologize, but it was certainly no problem at all.

So when it came down to the cut, I was going from mid-back length hair to an above the shoulder asymmetric bob (yeah, the one that everyone's been getting, and I've been fighting against to get, but caved because I needed the change).

The head massage with the shampoo was awesome. Ilove massages in any way or form.

I did bring a picture in of what I wanted, which was helpful. Daniela had just done a more classic bob for the lady before me, which looked awesome, so I knew I would be in good hands.

I thought it was nice how everyone kept telling me how much of a trooper I was, saying things like how they would be crying to go to such an extreme. But I was mentally prepared and ready for this cut. And I must say, it looks amazing. My friends all compliment me on it. It's starting to grow out, but still looks great.

The cut was $60, which is rather up there considering how poor I am as a college kid, but I was really happy with my hair and the service!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Daniela she is such a sweetheart!!!! Great attitude makes you feel very comfortable. She is always asking you if you need anything! i would highly recommend her!!!!

I first went in for a consult with Daniela and she really knows what shes talking about. Then i decided i wanted her as my stylist so I made an appt with her about a week later. My hair was up to my waist(very long) and had some purple in it. I decided to go a Lil shorter (a few inches) go darker with some blonde peak a boos, well my hair didn't take the blonde even Daniela was like it would look much better if you went with some red. I agreed. ( that blonde looked caramel) she ended up cutting alot of my hair off!! (its a Lil below my shoulders, not the few inches I wanted off that's for sure!) so I came in the next day to get it fixed. I gotta admit it looked 100% better!!! I was still a Lil upset because more than half of my hair was now gone!!! It was some getting use to (it took me about 3 years to grow out my hair like i had it!). And to top it off I still had to pay for the red!!!! wasn't to happy about that either!

But overall my experience at Limon was good! they girls there are very sweet, they turn to each other for recommendations. Daniela has outstanding customer service very sweet and understanding!!! kudos to Daniela everyone loved my hair including my boyfriend which is what matters!!!! :)

i'm usually petrified when i go get my hair done because one of the following things usually happen:

1) the stylist chops my hair off, and it's too short.
2) my hair is overly poofy as a result of being over styled and i look like ashley from Rock of Love, bouffant and all.
3) my hair is layered in a weird way where it starts "flipping out" when it's supposed to curl inward.

limon salon was NOTHING like that, and i have daniela to thank for it.

the atmosphere is really fun. indie music plays in the background and there's art hanging throughout the salon. on my way out i noticed that they had a series of celebrity mugshots done in a creative artistic way. kind of crazy, but cool...

my experience with daniela was absolutely AMAZING. she's such a sweetheart, and you can tell that she really cares about making you look fabulous and feel great about yourself. it's very rare that i have a haircut that i'm completely happy with, and she absolutely nailed it. even though i didn't really know what i was looking for, daniela was incredibly helpful and took all my comments into account when trying to create a look that i'd be happy with. she gave me a simple, but edged out cut that had the right amount of volume while being deceptively light.

if you're looking for a new stylist, try limon. the salons really cute, the staff is great (ivo is really fun as well!), and you'll feel like a rockstar when you leave.

one note: on the way i actually ended up passing the salon because i didn't recognize it among all the other buildings on the road. (it's a few blocks before santana row, close to best buy end). so keep an eye out!

I'm a hairstylist from Missouri & I came to cali for vaction & went to Daniela at Limon. I loved every minute of it! I went in with an intention to do something different but didn't know what I wanted exactly... Daniela totally rocked my hair out! She gave me what I wanted with out me evening knowing what I wanted! Lol sounds confusing... I felt very comfortable at Limon & there were no clicks, no bad vibes...I would totally recommend this salon to anyone!

Got my hair cut & colored by Daniela today - love it! This is the best cut and color I've gotten in years!

I had a general idea what I wanted, but also wanted to get some suggestions from Daniela since she's the pro. Usually, when I get a haircut, it pretty much ends up looking like a refreshed version of the cut I already had - even when I ask for something different. Daniela made some great suggestions on the cut and color, and my hair turned out fabulous. I have a totally fresh look and feel like I've had a makeover! I also love that she took the time to show me what products to use and how to style my hair so I can (hopefully) duplicate the look myself at home.

I've been to about 5 different stylists in the last 3 years, and never stuck with anyone for more than a couple haircuts. I'm so thankful to Yelp for helping me find Limon Salon and Daniela - I will be going back!

P.S. The prices at Limon Salon are also very reasonable and everyone there was very friendly - a big plus!

Freakin' Amazing! I have to give 5 stars to Daniella for making me beautiful on Friday. My Bday Party was last Friday and I made an appointment with her for a styling - She had fixed my hair at the Yelp Moorpark Event and loved it so I wanted her to take care of me for my party.

I was a little late (bad makeup experience!) and they were not rude to me about it at all - They grabbed me a glass of wine (to calm my jittery nerves - STRESS) and sat me down and did me up! Daniella set a gorgeous up-do on me and everyone at my party was impressed - I kept referring her to my friends to try her out! She is fast, efficient and very professional with her work.

I just literally got back from getting a hair cut and all-over color with Daniela and I've never been so pleased. Usually I have to come home and "re-do" or "de-poof", but my hair turned out absolutely perfect!

Daniela is very friendly and recommended the perfect color for me, and helped me decide what might look best for my cut. My hair looks healthy and amazing. I definitely recommend her! I thought the price was very reasonable and am thrilled to have found Limon.

I purchased all of the products she recommended because I loved the way my hair looks and feels, and I've needed to buy some good quality products for a long time now ( I was not pressured at all, and no I am not a sucker). I appreciate how friendly and helpful everyone at the salon is, they will take good care of you.

Limon is simply great. Centrally located, loads of parking, online appointments with follow up reminder email and phone call.

I arrived just before my appointment. The salon is very modern and trendy, but with a warm fun feel. Cool artwork on the walls, stylish furniture, great music selection and the greeting from the staff was warm and welcoming.

Within a few minutes Daniela came and got me for my appointment. She asked me how I wanted it cut, made some recommendations but most importantly listened to what I wanted. So many people just cut away and you end up with something you don't like. Not at Limon. She checked to make sure how much hair she was going to take off, and went about it gradually which I really appreciated.

The wash was great, but the neck/scalp massage was superb and will leave you jelly-legged. Really relaxing. On to the cut, Daniela was fun & easy to chat with throughout, and checked in as she cut to make sure it was going for the look I wanted. The great thing was that I had an "idea" of how I kind've wanted it, and Daniela is creative enough to go from there and produce amazing results that you'll be really happy with.

The appointment took an hour, an hour very well spent, and I'll be going back there from now on. If Daniela ever moves she's got a new follower too, she's a complete sweetheart and I can't recommend her highly enough. You need to try Limon, you won't be disappointed.

Hi everyone, once again I'm here writing about how fabulous Daniela is. I had my hair re-touched and she did such a perfect job that my father who is very picky, told me that for the first time, since I have started dying my hair (which is atleast 10yrs. now) he loved it. That coming from him, is beyond a complement in itself. I LOve you Daniela you are wonderful!!!!

Oh and before I forget everyone MUST try their new Kerastase in salon treatment, 2 die for. It leaves your hair super soft and shiny, plus it lasts for 6 weeks. My hair is super thick and frizzy and I left the salon with a tamed mane :)

OK... so I decided to venture out this time and in stead of going to my usual barber shop that I have be going to as long as I can remember I thought I would try something new and see what this Limon Salon was all about. I check it out online and the place seemed really appealing and very modern. They have profiles on there web page w/ pictures and info on there stylist witch I found to be help full in choosing who I was going to schedule my appointment with. It also made me realize that I have been getting my hair cut from old men I whole life, not that that's bad but having a young attractive female cutting my hair just seems like a better concept to me. So I got my hair cut from Daniela, and let me tell you I was very nervous cause I'm a little picky when it comes to my hair, but from the moment I sat in the chair Daniela made me feel very comfortable with getting my hair cut there she was very friendly and welcoming not to mention easy on the eyes. She ask a lot of questions before she just dove in and started cutting, which was new for me, the barber shop starts cutting then ask questions. And after finding out what I wanted done, she went at it. I would have to say that this one of the best cuts I have had, I didn't feel like she was rushing to get my hair done so she could help someone else, she took her time and it was really relaxing, not to mention the head massage which put me to sleep in the chair. Over all it was a very good experience for me and I am proud to say I have my own Stylist now! I think I might have to get my hair cut more often now thank you soooooo much Daniela!!!!!!!!!!

I decided that I needed to get a haircut, and not just my standard trim, when my hubbie told me that I needed to do something with my hair. I've been growing my hair out for my wedding, but now that it's done with, something needed to be done since it was a bit blah.

I was a little nervous since my mom is a hairdresser, so I rarely go get my haircut from anyone else. Now since I live on the opposite side of the country, I don't have much of a choice but to find a new salon. So I took his advice, and the advice of Yelp, and went to Limon.

I love Limon!!!!!! And I heart Daniela!!!!!! Daniela rocks and did a great job on my hair, I'm really happy with it, and she went above and beyond my expectations - I showed her some pics of an asymettrical bob (longer in front than back), and she made sure to give me something cute, and making sure that I was comfortable with the style she was giving me as we progressed with the cut. The head massage was super relaxing, and I also got a Kerastase conditioning treatment which made my hair super soft and shiny! Loving it!

Daniela has been doing my hair for two years now. I first started going to her at Visual image in fremont, ca and when she changed salons i had to follow!! She is the best hair stylist and knows her stuff! if you like the newest hair styles and color Daniela is the stylist to go to! Not only is she a great hair stylist but she makes your experience at the salon completely relaxing! She is also very sweet and great to converse with and i can't wait for my appointment in two weeks!

I recently had a cut by Daniela and I can honestly say it ranks among the best Ive ever had. The neck massage almost had me tell her, "I love you" because it was so good. Daniela's skills ranks among the best Ive seen.

Everybody was very nice and friendly and the atmosphere is first class. I highly recommend Limon for a haircut, and if you're lucky enough, you can get it cut by Daniela.

Now this place is what you call world class CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was looking for a new hairstylist and wanted to check this place out randomly and when I did, I was shocked at how super friendly and helpful the staff was. The scalp massage was so worth it and I'm definitely coming back. I got so many compliments on my hair last night. Daniela is AWESOME! =)

I wanted a drastic haircut and color this year, but I've always been scared to. I guess I haven't had much luck (or trust) with any hair stylist before.

I heard about a new salon that opened in my area called Limón so I checked out their website and they were all about cutting edge, Hair, Art, and Music which is what I'm all about. I couldn't believe it! So I gave it a try...

DANIELA WAS AMAZING!!!!! The Staff and other stylist were so down to earth and friendly. No egos here, I like that. Daniela listened to everything I had to say and made me feel so comfortable on what she was going to do. She made me look like a million bucks!

My hair has found its new home, its about time.
BTW... she gives the BEST shampoos massage EVER! (just that was worth the price.)

Went back to Limon for a color appointment with Daniela! Once again, she performed magic! I have been sporting the rockstar color for about 3 weeks now and I am still getting TONS of compliments! She really understood the look that I was hoping for and used all of her creativity to achieve it. Daniela and Limon Salon are AMAZING! You should go there!

After years of disappointing hair cuts, i'm glad i made an appointment at Limon with Daniela, who turned out to be awesome! i love her vision and she does an amazing job. she made sure she had an understanding of what i wanted but made reccomendations as well. i'm definately pleased with how my hair turned out!

she totally hooked me up! i'm glad i found this place & i'll be back without a doubt.

the salon itself: everyone here seems super sweet and down-to-earth, not the usual catty drama you typically deal with at a salon. good conversation, dope music & artwork.

DANIELA IS AWESOME! She is so fun and inspired! You can tell that she loves what she does and she is SO good at it. I came into the salon pretty fed up with my hair and fed up with stylists that didn't understand what I wanted my hair to look like. Daniela fixed both! I came out with an amazing haircut and I can't wait to going back for a color appointment with her. She is the best stylist I have ever met. Great attitude, great talent, great vision! I am looking forward to many more amazing hair styles from Daniela and Limon Salon!

Daniella is so good. She helped me pick the style color and look that I've always wanted and never was able to get. I'll never stray. Totally my new hair salon forever. Love the staff, enviroment, service and TALENT!!! Recommend friends, this place is new and needs all the new business it can get. Very Happy. I went to get my hair done here and I loved the results. For the first time in a very LONG time, I can honestly say I LOVED my hair. Daniela, who was the person who did my hair at Limon, was awsome. I really recomend her to anybody who wants to have a good, head-turning hair.
And let me tell you, all the people that work here are very friendly, absolutely gorgeous, and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere and vibe the salon gives you is fantastic, mood uplifter and you truly come out feeling refreshed, renewed and beautiful.
