Limon Salon is great! I always go to Jessica and I just love her to death! They offer online appointments so you can schedule what is convenient to you instead of being at the mercy of the receptionist. I will never go back to Antoni Paez ever again! Limon is my new forever salon!

Going to Jessica @ Limon was my best move in 2009!!! She listens and does a fabulous job!! I have recommended her to all my friends (they love her too) . The wine, music and all the other friendly stylists help to make the experience fun...

I've been going to Jessica for the last 4 years. The one thing i can always count on is Jessica doing exactly what i ask. There's been a few times I've wanted to go to the extreme and she has no issue telling me the truth: "that it won't look good on me." She's also very creative and made great suggestions on what would look good on me..
Because she is straight forward, honest and dependable I have referred my family, friends and my friends friends. If there's something off, that just doesn't feel right, talk to her and she'll do whatever she can to make you happy and looking GQ status when you walk out!

Jessica is amazing! she totally saved me from a previous horrible hair cut. great ambiance and the products they use are amazing! they also always seem to be offering some kind of deal which is another plus.

I love my Jessica!!!
If you are going to this salon for the very first time and aren't sure who to request as a stylist, you can use my recommendation for Jessica, she is great at what she does and has tons of experience.
I have been going to Jessica since she first started doing hair about 6 years ago. I have followed her from salon to salon and am sooo happy that she has made the move back to San Jose. I used to drive all the way to Fremont just for her. She is patient and takes her time to give you exactly what you want.
I have never had a bad experience with her as my stylist which is a huge deal...I've been to highly accredited stylists (including salon owners) that claim to have done so many expos and shows yet I almost always left frustrated and upset...I have very tan skin and once had an owner turn my hair light blonde - the full head - please keep in mind that I have super dark eyebrows...picture it! It was a disaster and not at all what I had asked for. Thankfully Jess fixed me right up.
Most stylists will just do whatever you ask them to without providing any input at all and that can somtimes look bad on the stylist. Jess will tell you whether she thinks its a good or bad move and if you still want to do it then she will do it, but at least if you don't like it she warned you and that's your own fault. It's good to have direction from someone who knows what they're talking about. A lot of times we bring in pictures thinking our hair can do it without realizing that those might be extensions or she might have much thicker hair than we do etc.
Jessica has done everything from fun, wild haircuts to highlights and color correction. She knows her stuff and has gone all over the country to get extra training and has become accredited by some of the top names in the bus. I love her.
You will have so much fun with her during your appointment. She is so honest and up front about everything that you will be cracking up. She is too funny that girl haha.
She just did my hair this past week and I love it!

Go to Jessica Gianotti...that's all I have to say!
Ok, well maybe I have a little more to say than that. Let me first fill you in on my eventful hair situation...I love my hair both brunette and blonde. I love both so much that I go back and forth quite often...ummm too often!
Naturally I am a blonde...medium / light ash blonde to be exact. It's not the easiest color to get back to which is why I tend to leave it dark for a long long time once I make the switch.
This past time around I died my hair brown and then in the midst of it all found out I was pregnant..."hmm...guess I'm gonna be a brunette for a long time" was my first thought and it was the truth. I stayed brunette for over a year. Box dye over box dye for touch ups...a simple solution for a growing pregnant chick, but not a good one for the strands ya know?
Every time I make the switch back to blonde it is a very very long and excruciating process for my hair; most often coming out with shriveled ends and either way too blonde or not blonde enough and as thin as a damn spider web...not cute!
I know that it's just about Fall and when most people decide to darken their strands, I lighten them...weird, but I was having serious blonde blues! I called up my "Jessica" and asked her to save my life...yes, I love my hair that much!
She foiled me up in a full highlight, set me up with a fabulous "gossip mag", gave me cake...yes it was funfetti : ) and worked her magic for about an hour and 10. She checked me not thinking that I'd be ready and what do ya know? It was time to rinse. Without any painful burning or itching I was done.
The color was nearly perfect...we hadn't even toned it yet!!! Talk about a pro right? Mmm-hmm...we decided to go ahead and tone a few select pieces to add even more dimension to my locks and in 10 minutes I was dried and styled and feeling like much more than a million bucks! Such a wonderful feeling...ladies you all know how much a good hairdo can make you feel. Instant ear to ear smiles.
Now I have a fabulous blend of vanilla and caramel...if that doesn't sound like something you crave, then my dear there just might be something wrong with you.
When booking an appointment at Limon for the first time, not having the slightest clue as to which stylist to go to, at least consider my review and have confidence in knowing that I came and went with more than satisfaction on a tough job that many are very hesitant to pursue. I feel like Barbie again...maybe I'll have that urge to go back to Theresa Barbie, but definitely not any time soon. I love this fabulous hair!!!
P.S...don't worry about the cost...you will care less when you leave the place!

I just got my hair highlighted by Jessica and what a wonderful job she did! I had previously gone to Peter Thomas in Berkeley, but with working in San Jose and living in Mountain View I decided to find somewhere closer. My boyfriend actually asked a girl where she had gotten her hair done, she told him, I looked up reviews and then booked an appointment online with Jessica.
I'm a natural brunnette and I came in with blond highlights wanting to go even more blond (Anna Paquin's blond). She explained that she didn't want to do the full dye job in one sitting since it would be damaging to hair, but she would do a full head of foils. 3 hours later it almost looked like the blond I wanted! She highlighted most of my hair, leaving a few strands of my natural brown color and everyone loves it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY HAIR!!!!! And so does everyone else. I saw Jessica for the first time a few weeks ago for a cut. I was greeted very politely by the front desk. I felt totally comfortable right away. I left with the best haircut I've ever had. And it only took an hour, I have very thick naturally curly hair and every stylist before would take forever to dry and style it. She knows what shes doing.
So after her seeing the hot mess of my color, I scheduled a color and highlight. Wanted something edgy, but not crazy, I'm still a 30 yr old mommy:) I went from Blonde with 3inch roots and bad highlights to Dark auburn with RED and blonde highlights. its so perfect. She placed them in such a way that I look trendy, but not like I'm going through an early midlife crisis.
I knew that it looked just as good as I thought when my husband said I looked sexy, he used to just say it looks "good" or "nice".
Everyone at the salon is super nice and down to earth, I would have no issue seeing the other stylists also, they're work also looked great.

BTW I don't understand why anyone complains about pricing, maybe they frequent super cuts. You get what you pay for. And here there is alot of value.

I scoured the Internet for a new stylist and Limon caught my eye for a few reasons...#1 - Their website does a great job of telling their "story". Funky, edgy, high end products, and best of all the online appointment bookings. That saves tons of time and trouble for people like me who need ORDER in their lives. I sure hope it helps the stylists, too! #2 - I know it might be naive of me to believe this but I think having pictures on their website of the stylists depicts the type of work these people do on their clients. I chose Jessica because she was open when I was available and I knew that I was taking a leap of faith but at least HER hair was fantastic. Don't you think hair stylists are their own walking, breathing advertisements? I do...
Anyway, I was very pleasantly surprised with the cut she gave me since I didn't have a whole lot of options given the current length. She managed to make lemonade out of lemons and I'm very thankful for her vision and ability to morph the crappy do I had into something more fun and actually easy to style. It is the version of the bob that everyone's emulating these days but it's on it's way to becoming something that I have been trying to get my prior stylist to give me for almost a year now....Jessica got me closer to that goal in one haircut.
Thank you Jessica....glad that I think I've found someone who understands me and my hair...finally! Oh, and price wise...not sure why I see people commenting about the cost being high...it is a little but so worth the peace of mind walking out the door knowing you're not going to get those head tilted, wtf is going on with your hair looks from your coworkers...god I hate that! Dropping ~$60 on a haircut so worth it.

Jessica did a great job on my hair. She's a great listener and tended to my hair needs. I have super long hair and wanted to get it trimmed because of split ends and wanted to get my bangs trimmed as well. The service at this salon is superb and the workers are friendly and accommodating. Plus they do a great scalp massage that goes along with a hair cut. I will definitely come back to get my hair colored and highlighted.

OMG~Jessica is awesome. I came in with blonde highlights that I have had for 20+ years. I wanted to go back to brown and was told at my old salon that "it was too much trouble". Jessica was friendly,sweet, listened to me and took her time with my transformation. I look great! I have got so many compliments on my hair. I just had my second appointment today(6wks later) and it was great. I highly recommend this salon!!

Jessica is amazing - I followed her from Visual Image in Fremont because I just couldn't part from her. I trust her completely with my hair and she never fails in making it look fabulous! Limon is a great place and you can actually have wine while they do your hair - I love it after a hard day at work. The staff is really friendly and they do whatever they can to make sure you're happy. Def try it out!!

So I have to write this after I spoke with Jessica Gianotti while she cut and styled my hair.
I usually go to salons in SF or Honolulu. I'm used to paying 80-100 for a haircut ALONE. So Limon is average, priced for me. I have no idea what I was charged for but I walked out of there with perfectly styled hair, color, cut, some products, and tip for 150.
So the prices are fair.
Jessica was the nicest EVER. I am one of those people who hair stylists dread! I'm so anxious the whole time and I give too much instruction (complete with photographs.) Yes that's me. Usually, I feel like an ass but Jessica made me feel like it was totally fine. I was being really conservative and she kept me completely reassured and happy.
She listened (over and over) to what I wanted and executed it perfectly..
In fact, she has given me the courage (now that I have someone I actually trust with my hair!) to be a little bolder next time I go in.
I have long thick dark hair, and she gave me nice easy layers and these cute bangs.
Im really happy with her work.
All in all, its a good place to get your hair done right.
They sell my fave Bumble and Bumble too!

Listen up all you thick haired ladies - go to JESSICA! She's awesome!
I called only one day prior and they were able to fit me in the following morning on a Saturday. The location is really easy to find and has ample parking. The salon is stylish & clean. All the staff members I came in contact with were extremely nice.
Jessica definitely knows what she is doing - I came in with a general idea of what I wanted and she made it happen - she cut & styled my hair better than I pictured it!
My new "do" looks fabulous - my hair looks healthier & better than it ever has before...and I have received numerous compliments! :)
I FINALLY found a salon that is close to my home and someone I will continue to go to.. I highly recommend Jessica @ Limon Salon! 5 STARS!

Jessica is the best! I want to thank you for the tremendous job you do! I am so sad about having to professionally change my hair color, but as usual you make me gorgeous!

I have been back in the bay area six years from being in England. I am happy to report that Limon is a salon with a very European vibe! I have been with Jessica now two years and I have never been disappointed. She never fails to provide perfect cut and color.
Jessica always brings a new and funky look to my hair even when I am only doing subtle changes. My color whether just done or close to next appointment is always receiving compliments from friends and mere acquaintances.
I am so happy to have found Jessica and love the new digs that Limon provides.

I recently came back to see Jessica to touch up my fabulous color that she so kindly picked out for me! The minute I walked in i was promptly greeted by Jessica. I sat in the chair and we discussed the color and told her I have had nothing but compliments yet again! She reminded me that summer is coming up and that she had a vision of what would look better for me. So I trusted her since she gave me wonderful color before, and I left Limon salon with beyond fabulous hair!:-)
BTW....... my color has never faded super fast and it always looks good until my next appointment every 8 weeks. I have been going to Jessica for awhile now and she is great! Jessica always knows whats best for me and what is not! She also wont hesitate to tell me the truth! She also does great highlights, color and cuts. She never rushes and always takes her time.I have been to some stylist that always rush right through my appointment. I cant wait for my next appointment with Jessica! She is wonderful!
