patrice did my hair.
came in with very dead dry hair,
first consultation, wash, condition, massage :) cut, blowdry, style. all for 65 dollars. i couldnt ask for better service.
she didnt pressure me on their products, but did put some great smelling things in my hair that didnt weigh it down and protected it.
:) will be back in 8 weeks for sure

I recently had an appointment with Senior stylist Patrice for highlights and a cut. This was my first visit to the salon and I must say I am very impressed with her work. The entire staff was friendly and fun. I came into the salon with standard expectations as every other time I had gotten my hair done with too high of hopes i left disappointed. I told Patrice that I wanted to be much lighter, we consulted for a few minutes and she got to work. She is very sweet and funny, and the stylist next to her is very friendly as well, we talked for a little bit and laughed the whole time. I got an amazing massage at the shampoo bowl. Patrice gave me a beautiful cut that I am able to manage and my hair has never looked better!!!! I recommend people to go to Patrice for any service. I will definately be back !!!! Thanks again Patrice!!!!!!!!! Love my blonde locks!!!!!!

When I figured out that the salon I used to go to closed down, I stumbled across Limon here on Yelp, and miraculously found an opening today with senior stylist Patrice. It's been MONTHS since my highlights were done last, and when the split ends finally freaked me out enough I just hacked off the bottom four inches, so I was at my absolute frumpiest and feeling very sheepish about walking into super cool Limon. I had to bring my poor step-daughter (11) along because of the appointment time, but everyone there was very welcoming and friendly and did not make me feel silly for looking ragged or having a child in tow.
Now for the best part. Patrice talked me into a balayage instead of a highlight, and even though I was skeptical, I just let her do her thing and I now have the best hair I've had in years, and it will grow out much more naturally. The color is stunning, and the cut is crazy sexy. She's really talented. The whole staff was just very sweet, warm and refreshingly down to earth. It was worth every penny and I will be back.

I came in last night for a cut with Patrice. This is my second time at your salon and with Patrice as my stylist. As with the first time, I am so happy with the job she did and I'm absolutely loving my cut! The layers are perfect and it is exactly what I wanted. The first time I came in she did an exceptional job on my hair and when I came back last night she remembered me and remembered what she did last time. My last visit was in August! I can honestly say that I've been to other salons and the stylist won't remember me after I've been there like 5 times. Needless to say it is really nice to have someone cut your hair that you can trust and that is excellent at what they do. I'll definitely be recommending Limon to friends and Patrice in particular.
Also, the salon itself if fabulous! Such a great atmosphere.

I was a client of Ivo's and came in just before he left for a last cut. He suggested three other stylists at Limon and thought Patrice would be a good fit for me. Came in the day before Thanksgiving for a cut/highlight with Patrice -- I'm really pleased with what she did.. Subtle blond highlights with plastic wrap vs.. foil (who knew?), an updated shorter cut... and I successfully styled it myself today!
Five stars for Ivo before, and now five stars for Patrice! She's really friendly and seemed totally comfortable chatting or working in silence. Stars also for her assistant (Tara, although maybe I'm misspelling her name) who does a *really* good scalp/neck massage while she shampoos.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new hair style by Patrice. I was so bored with my hair and wasn't quite sure what to do with it until I went to see Patrice for the first time. Although, I walked in with a picture of a new hairstyle, I was a little apprehensive to make that drastic change...It's only hair, right? All I have to say is Patrice looked at that photo clipping once and did her magic. Not only did she give me the most perfect hair coloring (which last forever), but my haircut is fabulous! I've received so many compliments on how great my hair looks & how it makes me look younger. Change is good!
Unfortunately, I moved to the East Coast, but do continue to schedule my Bay Area visits based on my hair appointments with Patrice...The best hair stylist (artist really) I've met yet!

I followed Patrice from a previous (not to be named) salon, which was closer to my house. Patrice does such a great job with my hair, and by the way, she is great company while styling, it was well worth it for me to go to San Jose (which is near work anyhow).
Limon Salon is fun, modern and they do great hair. What else can you ask for?
A few things that are important to me are well represented in this salon.
-First, you can make our appointment online, and this is really a nice feature for a busy gal like me who is online all day.
-Second, along the same lines, they have wireless in the salon, so I can log in if I get there early or something major comes up while I am getting my hair done.
-The salon itself has a fun atmosphere-good music, artwork, and furniture. One note, the shampoo bowls are comfy, and I think that is not easy to come by.
-A few more important things...
The stylists are great! Patrice does my hair, and I would highly highly recommend her, but all of the other clients that left the salon while I was there looked great. (There was a bride on her way out as I was arriving who was completely glowing with happiness at how beautiful she looked.) The stylists not only cut hair and color well, but they are knowledgeable, well trained and LISTEN. The make recommendations, use high end products, and do other stuff besides just hair. Lastly, they are nice, friendly and FUN!
Overall, this place is AWESOME. The atmosphere is cool, the people are friendly and great at what they do, and it is just a good place to be when you are getting pretty. Try it out peeps, you will not be disappointed. ;)

Wow! All I can say is...WOW!!!!
I've been debating for a while now about getting my hair cut and after countless suggestions from coworkers and friends to their trusted stylists...I decided to go it on my own and find my own salon. The reviews on Yelp and their website helped me make a final decision on this place.
First off, the online appointment booking is great. It works without kinks and they email you to confirm the appointment and everything. VERY PLEASED that they have this option!! I set up an appointment with Patrice for the next day and was all set. I arrived a little early in case I needed to hunt for parking, but, they have their own lot in the back. Yet another nice feature of this salon! When I walked in I was greeted by a nice receptionist named Stephanie who checked me in an offered me something to drink. I waited only a few minutes and then Patrice came out to take me back. She sat with me and we discussed what I wanted. Poor Patrice, I basically said I just needed something new (could I be anymore vague??) but she knew just what to suggest. She helped me decide on layers and bangs. I was a bit nervous but Patrice was so confident about it I decided to trust her. The shampoo was relaxing and she even did a little scalp massage which was nice. For the cut, she worked diligently but with great skill. I watched my long locks falling to the floor and started to get a little nervous but I just let her work her magic. The cut was done so she then asked me how I styled my hair on a daily basis. I was honest...I just let my boring old hair air dry and up into a ponytail it went. I was so glad that she asked me this though because she proceeded to style it in a way that I could manage on my own when I got home. I REALLY appreciated that. When she was done I was totally shocked....in the best way possible. Somehow my flat, boring, fine hair had been transformed into something adorable and fun! The bangs were perfect (not like my bangs back in the day that were straight and blunt and tacky) and the layers really gave some life to my hair. I am so thrilled with this cut! She used some product in my hair but never once tried to push me into buying the same products she's used. I mean, of course she suggested it but it wasn't the usual push at the end, the "oh, you NEED this and HAVE To buy some" routine. Again, appreciated. She let me know that I should return in 8 weeks for a trim and I scheduled the appointment and will definitely return to Patrice!!
I think what made this experience so pleasing was that the whole salon team actually cares about you and what you want. They listen and help you along instead of just trying to take over and do whatever they want. The fact that she took the time to ask simple questions about my daily routine was so appreciated. How many times have I left a salon with no idea how I was going to fix my hair the next day? They even care enough to let you know when you need to come back. I think this is honestly the first time I left a salon with a return appointment.
So, if you're looking for a great caring salon, please try Limon out. Patrice is wonderful and everyone else there looked like they were wonderful too. You won't be disappointed with your experience!!

Reviewers of Yelp and co-workers recommended this place. Everyone was friendly. Receptionist is very nice and asks if you'd like anything to drink. Online booking was very easy and convenient to use.
I had my haircut with Patrice. She was very nice and attentive to how I wanted my haircut. She was also nice enough to blow dry and style my hair so I can see how short my layers were.
I def. recommend this place. I also liked that they carry Bumble and Bumble products. =D

On a whim, I decided it was time to get a haircut.. My coworker recommended this salon and told me that I could make reservations online. Convenient & easy! I was a few minutes late to my appt, a big no no when you're receiving services but the receptionist was very sweet and accommodating. Patrice, my stylist was amazing! She took the time to consult w/me on different types of looks and really listened to what I was asking for. I loved every minute from beginning to end! From the scalp massage to the cut and style, Patrice was very professional and friendly! My hair is now healthier and fuller. I've received many compliments on it and will definitely be coming back to this salon in the future.

I was in desperate need of a haircut after I finally gave up on my last hairdresser (she left my crown too full while layered too much on the bottom, making it look very stringey). So, I jumped onto yelp to search for a salon near my workplace. I found Limon Salon. Their website was sleek and modern, and allowed booking appts. online, which is great!
I called to schedule an appt the next day and they gave me Patrice, a new hairstylist. Because I was anxious to get my hair cut asap, I called back and they said I could come in the same day at 5:15 pm and see Patrice. Well, I showed up and apparently, they had another customer's name for 5:15 pm. There was a mix-up by the receptionist. I didn't want to come back the next day and so waited about 5 minutes for the "other customer" to arrive. Well, fortunately, she didn't come in (I honestly think that it was a name mix up).
So, Patrice asked me for my opinion...my thoughts, what I wanted, etc.. Then she shampooed and conditioned my hair with Bumble Bumble Coco products. They smelled so good! She said that this product helps condition coarse hair like mine. I went back to my chair and she started cutting, asking each time if it was ok for her to trim a bit more, cut a bit more, and I agreed each time. She was really attentive and explained the Bumble products that she was putting into my hair. I really appreciated that! So, in 45 minutes, I looked great! My hair felt lighter with shorter lengths and some wisps of layers. I came home and my husband loved it! He encouraged me to go back there again.
